Our client is small but undergoing rapid growth and so we need to expand the Power Electronics team with a number of individuals to work in a multi-disciplinary environment on a range of R&D projects in power electronics. We are now looking for Engineers who will offer specialist advice and technical expertise to the Power Electronics team.
- Translate specifications into circuit topologies that optimise converter power efficiency and power density to demonstrate the benefits of using SiC and GaN devices.
- Assess candidate power conversion topologies using circuit modelling and simulation.
- Assess PCB designs to optimise electromagnetic and thermal performance.
- Demonstrable Power electronics design experience in an automotive or similar engineering environment.
- Systems engineering approach to projects.
